Yesterday in sl was really good day. Although kind of boring at times. RoKk had been asking me to help him find an auction table (so to speak). He thought that maybe putting himself up for a Date auction would be a good idea and that it my spice up our attendance. I was talking to him and said I will help out by putting myself up for Auction as well. He seems to think that I will get more for my date them. I think he is wrong. But anyways if you are reading this blog and you want to take a chance on me or him for date. Come to Club Hydra and place your bid. I am sure you won't be disappointed. Just check out my profile for the landmark to the club in world.
Last night it was pretty dead in second life. Not much going on. We tried to host an event but we ended up just canceling it. So I logged for a bit .. Came back on and went to Wet Willies. I guess this has become a place for me to hang out. I like the music and for the most part I always have a good time. Karm and Cheruscii showed up for the their normal gig that they do at Wet Willies. I had a really good friend of mine log on and he also came to enjoy some great music. Chuckles a little he said that I had really great taste. I said taste? Taste in what? he said me of course and the music. He is such a great guy. So it was a wonderful night. I am so glad that I have such good friends in sl. Even if real life steals them away from sl for awhile, it seems that we just pick up right where we left off like they have been here along. Here's to good stable friends from the past and into the future. I found a poem about friends that pretty much describes what sl friendship is all about...Thanks to 100-poems.com
Unseen Friend
Although you are a friend of mineand letters we exchange,
I wouldn't know you on the street,
and doesn't that seem strange?
You hold a place within my life,
unusual and unique;
We share ideals and special dreams,
and still, we do not speak.
I picture what I think you are,
perhaps you picture me.
An intriguing game for both of us
for someone we can't see.
So for this friendship we possess,
we owe this mail a debt,
Perhaps the charm lies in the fact
that we have never met.
